Every proposed feature must pass all 7 checks before it ships. If any answer is "no," the feature is killed or reworked.
Children don't need another teacher.
Parents don't need another parenting article.
Families need better conversations.
Molly exists to make those conversations happen.
Does this make a real family conversation more likely to happen?
Is it for the child, the parent, or the relationship between them? (Relationship wins.)
Does it respect the child's privacy? (No parent-facing transcripts. Themes only.)
Does it sound like a wise older sibling — not a teacher, therapist, or app?
Would a kid actually use it twice?
Could it be removed without breaking the core promise? (If yes — remove it.)
Does it avoid every item in the Anti-Spec?
Tiebreaker
Is this Molly's job, or is someone else's job? If it belongs to a teacher, doctor, therapist, or parent — we don't build it.
